The cost of getting anything here is a challenge

we have a challenge with getting, proper people with proper training like electricians

there is no sort of plan B like if something serious were to happen to that (one) power supply

Aspirations

It would also be nice to have other sources of supply for energy and have sustainable buildings

Lowest per person energy use in Canada north of 55 degree

Aspirations

maybe instead of having a provincial body making decisions on energy for an entire province maybe you bring it more down to the regional level and you have local energy co-ops for example

use of existing and local renewable resources capacity, don’t bring in resources from elsewhere

Well what I'd like to have is I'd like it to be self-sufficient. Realistically, I would like to see us look at renewables a little stronger to supplement the grid and be able to provide that back up
